Performance Management
Performance measurement is the process of assessing progress toward achieving predetermined goals. Performance management is building on that process, adding the relevant communication and action on the progress achieved against these predetermined goals. Most organizations utilize various learning and development interventions to build skills to allow for better performance. Performance planning is where goals and objectives are established for the organization and the individual. Performance management helps organizations achieve their strategic goals and in a shorter timeframe.
